The Association of Sri Lankan Graduates from Socialist Countries was established in 1966 by Sri Lankans who returned after pursuing higher studies in the former Republics of the Soviet Union, Eastern European Countries, Peoples Republic of China and Cuba.
Dr. Hector Weerasinghe New Consul General of Sri Lanka for California Left Sri Lanka for Los Angeles on July 31st. He did not forget to visit ASLGSC Headquarters few hours before his departure to meet the colleagues. Members were flattered by his love for the Association and concern for the friends.
